Description
A full metre of bright yellow chock, long enough to span twin wheels. Moulded from solid yellow rubber, this chock is about 1000mm long, 175mm wide at the base and 160mm high, and weighs about 24kg. A 12mm red rope runs through the centre for carrying it and pulling it from the wheels by hand. Your airline or operator's guidelines set the chock size for each aircraft type, so check those before you order. The price is for one chock.

Why this chock works
One length across the wheels. At a metre long, one chock can sit across a pair of wheels where your procedure allows it, so there are fewer pieces to place and collect.
Yellow all the way through. The colour is in the rubber itself, so scuffs and apron wear won't reveal a black layer underneath.
Red rope, yellow body. Two contrasting colours make both the chock and its rope easy to spot before anything moves.
No wrong way up. The triangular section has three matching faces, so a flat face always sits on the ground and a sloped face meets the tyre.
No load rating or test standard is published for this line. If your specification needs either, call us before you order.
Where it is used
Use it on stands and aprons where your procedure calls for a long chock, including across twin wheels. At about 24kg it is a heavy lift, so plan for two people or use the rope to drag it clear.

- Follow your airline or operator's chocking procedure, and check this size is approved for the aircraft type.
- Set the chock tight against the tyre, with a second chock on the other side.
- Keep the rope clear of the wheels, laid out to the side.
- When you are told it is safe, pull the chocks clear by the rope.
Which chock do you need?
| Your situation | Choose |
|---|---|
| Yellow rubber, a full metre long | This chock |
| Yellow rubber, half the length and weight | 175 x 160 x 500mm chock |
| Black rubber, blue rope, 1000mm long | 170 x 155 x 1000mm chock |
| A bigger section, 1000mm long | 225 x 195 x 1000mm chock |
| A steel handle as well as the rope | Cast steel handle or steel hand grip |
Care
Check the chock and rope before use, and replace the rope if it is frayed. SBR rubber does not resist oil or fuel well, so wipe off fuel and hydraulic fluid promptly.
Frequently asked questions
Is the price for one chock or a pair?
The price is for one chock with its rope. Set the quantity to 2 if you need one each side.
Is reflective tape included?
No. Call us if you need it and we will check what can be supplied.
Will it suit my aircraft?
That depends on your airline or operator's guidelines, which set the length and size of chock for each aircraft type. We can't approve a chock for an aircraft type, so please check first.
