Description
A proper grip for a heavy chock. This yellow cast steel handle gives you something solid to hold when you carry a big rubber chock or pull it from under a wheel. It has an M16 thread and fits our large 300mm and 400mm chocks and all of our aircraft chocks. It measures about 125 x 82 x 72mm and weighs about 0.85kg. The price is for one handle. The threaded bar and the washer and nut are not included.
Why fit a handle
Heavy chocks need a real grip. Our large chocks weigh about 16 to 22kg, and the longest aircraft chocks weigh far more. A steel handle gives you a firm hold, including with gloves on.
Cast steel. The chunky one-piece casting is a step up from our lighter mild steel grip, for chocks that get dragged around a yard.

How to fit it
- Pass M16 threaded bar through the hole in the chock. We list a 430mm M16 bar. Check it suits the length of your chock.
- Wind the handle onto one end of the bar.
- Fit a washer and nut at the other end.
- Tighten so the handle sits firm against the rubber.

Does it come with the bar?
No, the handle is sold on its own. You also need M16 threaded bar, a washer and a nut.
Will it fit my smaller chock?
It is made for chocks with a hole running through them: our 300mm and 400mm chocks and our aircraft chocks. If you have a different chock, call us on 01744 520 110.
