Description
Our widest chock, for the widest tyres. Wide wheel loader, dumper and digger tyres need a chock that reaches across the tread. At about 400mm long, this one does, with the same tall triangular section as our 300mm chock and a 40-tonne maximum vehicle weight. It weighs about 22kg and has a 16mm hole through the centre for a rope or a bar with an eyebolt. The price is for one chock.

Why this chock works
Width across the tread. The extra length means the chock bears across more of a wide tyre, instead of just part of it.
Height for big wheels. The tall triangular section meets a large tyre higher up its curve than a standard chock can.
No wrong way up. A triangular prism always has a flat face on the ground and a sloped face to the tyre.
A hand grip if you need one. The 16mm centre hole takes a rope or bar, and we sell a steel hand grip and a cast steel handle that fit through it on an M16 bar.
No test standard or slope rating is published for this line. If your specification needs a tested chock, call us before you order.
Where it is used
Use it on wheel loaders, large dumpers and wheeled excavators, on construction sites and in quarries, and in plant yards and workshops when a machine is stood for maintenance. Check your machine's own instructions as well, as many machines have their own parking and blocking requirements.

How to use it safely
- Apply the parking brake, lower any attachments and stop the engine.
- Push a sloped face hard against the tyre tread.
- On a slope, chock the downhill side first. Use a second chock on the other side of the tyre.
- Before removing the chocks, make sure nearby machine movements have stopped and everyone is clear.
- Take the chocks away before the machine moves, and never drive over one.
A chock backs up the parking brake and does not replace it.
