A 50 metre roll of solid opaque white PVC strip for privacy curtains, screens, partitions and marker strips. Unlike clear or frosted PVC, white PVC blocks the view completely, so work areas, wash-down rooms, stores and processes behind the curtain are fully hidden, while people and trolleys still pass straight through. The bright white finish suits clean, hygienic-looking areas such as food production and commercial premises. Cut it into strips for a whole curtain, or mix a few white strips into a clear curtain to mark a forklift route. Three sizes from 200mm x 2mm to 400mm x 4mm, each priced in full inc VAT.

Why white PVC

Complete screening. Nothing shows through a white curtain, so it hides untidy areas, sensitive processes and stock from customers, visitors and other departments.

A clean look. Bright white strips match white wall panels and stainless steel, which is why food factories and commercial kitchens use them on wash-down rooms, stores and back-of-house doors.

Marker strips. Set a band of white strips among clear ones to show drivers and pedestrians where the forklift route or walkway is through a wide curtain.

Still a working curtain. The strips cut draughts, dust and noise between areas and help hold heat or cool air in, just like clear PVC.

Be aware. People cannot see each other through opaque strips. On doors used by forklifts or busy two-way traffic, mix in clear strips at eye level or use a clear curtain so people can see who is coming.

200mm suits pedestrian doors. 300mm suits wider doors and pallet truck traffic. 400mm x 4mm is the heavy duty size for large openings and swivel hinge rails.

How far does a roll go?

Strips needed = opening width divided by (strip width minus overlap), rounded up, plus one. Example: a 2m wide store door with 300mm strips overlapped by 100mm needs 11 strips; at a 2.4m drop that is 26.4m, so one 50m roll leaves plenty for a second door or spares.

Cutting and fitting

Unroll the PVC on a clean flat surface and let it relax overnight in a warm room. Cut each strip square with a sharp utility knife against a steel straight edge, punch or drill the hanging holes to suit your plates or rail, hang with the overlap you need and trim the foot so it clears the floor. Fit indoors or in a sheltered opening where possible. Wash with warm soapy water; avoid solvent cleaners.
