The Premium GRP Handrail Fitting 60° Short Tee is designed for creating a secure connection between handrail tubes and stanchion posts at a standard 30-degree slope, making it ideal for stair applications. This fitting can also be utilized to join the stanchion post at the end of stairs to a knee rail tube, ensuring stability and safety.
Installation Instructions
For optimal performance, the stanchion post must be cut to a 60-degree angle. This precise cut allows the tube to fully insert and be securely fixed into position. It is advised not to use this fitting for joining lengths of handrail tube; instead, the tubular spigot joint should be used for that purpose.
