Description
The wall guard that bends round a pillar. This one piece black moulding is very flexible, so you can fix it around a pillar as well as flat along a wall. Two rounded ribs take the knocks from stillages, and the closed ends mean it works on its own or in a line. It has no yellow strip, for a plainer look. It measures about 1000 x 150 x 55mm and weighs about 6kg. The price is for one length.
Why this guard works
It bends to fit. The moulding is very flexible, so it follows the curve of a round pillar. The bend you can get depends on the pillar, so check yours against the 1000mm length.
Two ribs take the knocks. The ribs stand about 55mm proud, with the channel and its bolts set back at about 24mm.
Closed ends. Both ends are closed, so the guard looks finished wherever it stops.

Use it on round pillars and columns, and along walls, in warehouses and stores where stillages move close to the building.

How to fit it
- Bend the guard round the pillar, or hold it level on the wall, and mark all 3 holes.
- Drill for M12 x 100mm through studs.
- Fix through all 3 holes into good concrete.
- Check the fixings after the first week of use.

Care
Check the bolts now and then, and replace the guard if the ribs split or wear badly. SBR rubber does not resist oil or fuel well, so keep it clear of leaks and wipe off any spills.

What size of pillar will it fit?
No minimum bend size is published for this line. It bends readily, but measure the distance round your pillar and call us if you are unsure.
Are fixings included?
No. Each length needs 3 M12 x 100mm through studs, and we sell a suitable stud separately. They are meant for good concrete, so check them against your pillar.
What is the difference from the yellow strip version?
Both are the same overall size. This one has no yellow strip and is very flexible, while the yellow strip version is for straight runs.
