Solid Black PVC Strip Bulk Roll (50m)

A 50 metre roll of solid opaque black PVC strip for blackout curtains, privacy screens, marker strips and agricultural curtains. Black PVC blocks light and view completely, which makes it the choice for poultry and livestock sheds, dark rooms, light-sensitive processes and anywhere a doorway needs to stay dark while people and vehicles pass through. Cut it into strips to your own drops for a full curtain, or set a few black strips into a clear curtain as marker strips. Four sizes from 200mm x 2mm to 400mm x 4mm.

Why black PVC

Total blackout. Solid black stops daylight getting in, which suits poultry houses, dark rooms and light-controlled areas.

Privacy and screening. Nothing can be seen through the strips, so stores, processes and work areas stay hidden.

Marker strips. Black strips set among clear ones show where an opening or route is.

A working curtain. The strips cut draughts, dust and noise and help hold heat or cool air in.

Be aware. People cannot see through opaque strips. On doors with forklifts or two-way traffic, keep clear strips at eye level so people can see who is coming.

Sizes

Strips needed = opening width divided by (strip width minus overlap), rounded up, plus one. One 50m roll gives 25 strips at a 2m drop, 16 at 3m and 12 at 4m.

Cutting and fitting

Unroll the PVC on a clean flat surface and let it relax. Cut each strip square with a sharp knife against a steel straight edge, punch or drill the hanging holes to suit your plates or rail, and hang with the overlap you need. Fit inside the opening where possible to shelter the curtain from weather. Wash with warm soapy water.
