A Rabbit silhouette, 195mm wide and 195mm high, cut from 5mm mild steel plate. The design is a rabbit sitting up on its haunches, facing left, with long ears raised. Weld it between the bars of a gate or railing by its edges, or screw it to a wall, fence or post. It suits farms, gardens and smallholdings. The plate is flat, so you can turn it over to face the other way. It comes in raw steel, ready to weld, then paint, powder coat or galvanise. The price shown is for one silhouette.

Why this silhouette works

Fitting and finishing

Hold the silhouette in place and check it sits level and faces the way you want. Tack it at two or three points where it touches the frame, check again, then weld fully. For a wall or timber, drill 6mm holes through solid parts of the plate and fix with exterior screws and washers.

Raw steel will rust outdoors. Clean off the mill scale, prime with a zinc-rich primer, working it into the cut edges, and top coat with a metal paint, or have the finished work hot-dip galvanised or powder coated.

Yes. It is cut from flat plate, so turn it over and it faces the other way with the same outline.

No. Welding suits steel gates and railings, but on timber, brick or a fence post you can drill 6mm holes and screw it in place.

Does it come painted?

No, it is raw steel so it welds cleanly. Paint, powder coat or galvanise it once it is fitted. Untreated, it will rust outdoors.
