Plain clear PVC strip, cut to the length you need. These are lengths of standard clear strip curtain PVC with square cut ends and no plate, holes or fixings. Use them to repair a strip curtain that clamps or bolts its strips in place, to make up your own curtain on a rail you already have, or wherever you need a clear, flexible PVC strip. Choose from 11 sizes, from 100mm x 1mm up to 400mm x 4mm, in lengths from 1000mm to 5000mm.

Clear PVC strip cut to length size guide: 11 strip sizes, lengths 1000mm to 5000mm, how to measure

Which strip do I need?

To repair a curtain, match the width and thickness of the strips already on it. Measure the width with a tape and compare the thickness with a 2mm, 3mm or 4mm sample, or call us and we will help.

Strip	Typical use
100mm x 1mm, 100mm x 2mm	Small openings, hatches, serving counters and chiller cabinets
200mm x 2mm	Pedestrian doors, the most common strip
200mm x 3mm, 200mm x 4mm	Busier doors, where a heavier strip hangs straighter and lasts longer
300mm x 2mm, 3mm or 4mm	Wider doors and trolley routes, with fewer joins across the opening
400mm x 2mm, 3mm or 4mm	Large openings, loading bays and doors used by vehicles

Choosing the length

Measure an old strip end to end. For a new curtain, measure the drop from your fixing to just above the floor and add whatever your fixing needs to grip. Lengths run from 1000mm to 5000mm in 200mm steps. If you fall between two lengths, go up one: clear PVC trims cleanly with a sharp knife against a straight edge.

Already have hook-on or QuickMount rails?

These strips are plain. If your curtain hangs from a flat stainless rail with hooks, choose our hook-on replacement strips, which come with the stainless plate fitted. If it hangs from a plastic peg rail, choose our QuickMount strips, which come punched to fit.

Need a lot of one size?

Cut lengths suit repairs and smaller jobs. If you need 20 metres or more of one size, compare our 50m clear PVC roll, which costs less per metre.

Handling

Strips are cut from the roll and travel rolled, so a slight curl is normal and relaxes in time, more slowly in the cold. Unrolling them flat overnight before fitting helps. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid solvents and abrasive pads, which cloud the PVC.

Frequently asked questions

Do these come with plates or holes?

No. They are plain strips with square cut ends. For strips ready to hang on a hook-on rail, see our hook-on replacement strips.

Can I use them in a freezer?

No. Standard clear PVC is recommended for 0°C to +40°C and stiffens in the cold. For a freezer, choose our freezer PVC strip cut to length, polar grade PVC that stays flexible down to -24°C.

Are these food-contact strips?

No. For food preparation areas, see our food safe kit.

Why is there a minimum order?

Strips are cut to order, so we supply a minimum of 10 per order. Need fewer, or a length outside this range? Call 01744 520 110.
