Description
The pad with four fixing points. Most of our drilled pads have two holes in the base. This one has four 7mm holes, two at each end, so you can bolt it down at all four corners. Fitted as a rubbing pad on the chassis of a tipping body, it helps reduce noise and prevent expensive damage and wear to the bodywork and paintwork. It measures about 180 x 75 x 45mm overall and weighs about 0.6kg. The price is for one pad.
Why this pad works
Four fixing holes. Two 7mm holes at each end let you fix the base at all four corners. Check that your rail is wide enough to take them.
A good depth of rubber. The block is about 40mm deep, on a 5mm aluminium base.
Aluminium base. The aluminium plate keeps the weight down, and aluminium does not rust.
Where it is used
Use it on the chassis of tipper lorries, tipping trailers and other tipping bodies, where you want four fixing points or are replacing a pad with the same hole pattern.

How to fit it
- Raise the body and prop it safely before you work under it.
- Mark where the body meets the chassis rail, then mark and drill the rail to match the holes.
- Bolt through all four holes with the rubber facing up. Bolts are not included.
- Lower the body slowly and check that it lands square on the rubber.

Care
Check the pad when you service the vehicle, and replace it if the rubber is split or worn down. SBR rubber does not resist oil or fuel well, so keep the pad clear of leaks and grease.

The price is for one pad. Set the quantity to the number of points where your body meets the chassis.
Will it fit my tipper?
No vehicle fit list is published, so measure the seat and the rail, and compare them with the sizes above. If you are replacing an old pad, measure that too.
Are bolts included?
No. The holes are 7mm, so choose bolts to suit those and your chassis.
