Description
A low pad that is ready to bolt down. The aluminium base has two 7mm fixing holes, one at each end, clear of the rubber. Fitted as a rubbing pad on the chassis of a tipping body, it helps reduce noise and prevent expensive damage and wear to the bodywork and paintwork. It measures about 180 x 75 x 34mm overall and weighs about 0.5kg. The price is for one pad.

Why this pad works
Fixing holes in place. With two 7mm holes in the base, you mark and drill the rail, then bolt down.
The lowest of the 180mm range. With about 29mm of rubber, this is the lowest of our three 180 x 75mm pads. The others stand 45mm and 50mm high.
Aluminium base. The 5mm aluminium plate keeps the weight down, and aluminium does not rust.
Where it is used
Use it on the chassis of tipper lorries, tipping trailers and other tipping bodies, where the rail is about 75mm wide or more and the gap under the body is small.

Which pad do you need?
| Your situation | Choose |
|---|---|
| 2 holes, 34mm high | This pad |
| 2 holes, 50mm high | 180 x 75 x 50mm pad |
| 4 holes, 45mm high | 180 x 75 x 45mm pad |
| A dished top, 2 holes | 190 x 115 x 26mm concave pad |
Care
Check the pad when you service the vehicle, and replace it if the rubber is split or worn down. SBR rubber does not resist oil or fuel well, so keep the pad clear of leaks and grease.
Frequently asked questions
Is the price for one pad or a set?
The price is for one pad. Set the quantity to the number of points where your body meets the chassis.
Will it fit my tipper?
No vehicle fit list is published, so measure the seat and the rail, and compare them with the sizes above. If you are replacing an old pad, measure that too.
Are bolts included?
No. The holes are 7mm, so choose bolts to suit those and your chassis.
