See-through coloured PVC strips for QuickMount peg rails, in transparent red, green, blue or yellow. They work like tinted glass: you still see clearly through the doorway, but the curtain adds colour to a studio, office, shop or workshop. Use a full colour curtain, mix colours, or hang a few coloured strips in a clear curtain to mark the edges of a walkway. Each strip is cut to the length you choose and punched ready to push on. It is priced on its own, inc VAT, so you can buy exactly what you need without a calculator.

All four colours are the same price. Colours may vary slightly from the photos, and the tint looks lighter on a single strip than on an overlapping curtain.

Size and length

Every strip is 200mm wide and 2mm thick, light duty, recommended for openings up to 3m high, which matches our QuickMount kits. Measure an old strip end to end, or from the top of the rail to just above the floor. Lengths run from 1000mm to 3000mm in 100mm steps. Between two lengths? Why it works

Colour without losing the view. The PVC is transparent, so people can still see who is coming the other way, which matters on routes shared by staff and trolleys.

Marks the way. A coloured strip at each edge of a clear curtain shows exactly where the opening starts and ends.

Anti-UV. The PVC contains anti-UV filters to help it resist sunlight. Strips still last longest fitted inside, sheltered from the weather.

Quick to swap, no metal plates. The strips push onto the pegs and pull off again, so a damaged strip is replaced in a minute with no tools.

Fitting and care

Lift the old strip off the pegs, line up the slots on the new strip with the pegs and push it on, overlapping the strips either side as before. Strips travel rolled; unroll them flat overnight before hanging and any curl drops out. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.

Frequently asked questions

Will these fit my rail?

They fit QuickMount push-fit peg rails, the plastic rail with a row of short downward pegs. For hook-on rails see hook-on transparent colour strips, and for twin track rails twin track transparent colour strips.

Can I mix colours, or mix with clear strips?

Yes. All our 200mm x 2mm QuickMount strips hang on the same pegs, so you can mix these with clear QuickMount strips or with each other.

Do you sell solid colours?

Yes, opaque black and red strips are on our QuickMount solid colour strips page, for privacy and blackout.

Can I use them in a freezer?

No. They are rated 0°C to +40°C. For freezers use polar grade QuickMount strips.

Is there a minimum order?

We suggest 10 strips, the usual number for a doorway, and the basket will offer it. You can still order fewer.
