Coverage

A 5kg container covers approximately 50–60m² per coat, depending on the porosity, texture and condition of the surface.

One coat should normally be sufficient on wooden surfaces. Two coats may be required when covering a strong existing colour or when applying the paint to cement posts and gravel boards.

Surface Preparation

For the best results, ensure the surface is:

• Completely dry
• Clean and free from dust
• Free from dirt, grease, moss and debris
• Structurally sound
• Free from loose or flaking paint

Previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly prepared, and any loose or peeling coating should be removed. Bare or repaired areas should be cleaned before application.

Always test the paint on a small, discreet area first to confirm colour, compatibility and adhesion.

Application

Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply evenly using a suitable brush or roller. The coating may also be thinned according to the spray equipment manufacturer’s instructions when using a compatible spray gun.

Avoid applying in wet, damp or extremely cold conditions. Ensure suitable dry weather is expected during application and drying.
