Description
Transform and protect outdoor wooden surfaces with this premium garden fence paint. Its thick, creamy formulation delivers excellent coverage and a smooth matt finish, helping refresh tired fences, sheds and garden structures with minimal effort.
Designed for easy DIY application, the paint can be applied using a brush or roller, or diluted where suitable for use with compatible spray equipment. The high-build acrylic formula reduces splatter on vertical surfaces and provides strong resistance against changing weather conditions.
In many applications, one coat is sufficient to achieve a complete colour transformation. For highly porous surfaces, concrete posts, gravel boards or major colour changes, a second coat may be recommended.

Coverage
5kg covers approximately 35–50m² per coat, depending on the porosity, texture and condition of the surface.
Coverage may be lower on rough, untreated or highly absorbent substrates.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, grease, algae and loose material before application.
Remove any flaking or poorly bonded existing paint. Smooth, polished or previously coated timber should be lightly sanded to create a suitable key for adhesion. After sanding, remove all dust and ensure the surface is completely dry.
Protect nearby surfaces, plants, paving and fixtures from drips or overspray before starting.
Application
Stir the paint thoroughly before and during use.
Apply evenly using a brush or roller. For spray application, dilute only as required by the spray equipment manufacturer and test the consistency on a small area first.
Avoid applying in rain, damp conditions, strong direct sunlight or when temperatures are too low. Ensure suitable dry weather is expected during application and drying.
A second coat may be applied where additional durability, opacity or protection is required.
Drying and Recoat Times
At approximately 20°C:
- Touch dry: 2–3 hours
- Recoat time: Approximately 4 hours
Drying times may increase in cold, humid or poorly ventilated conditions.
