Description
A black plastic end cap for 60.3mm round tube. It pushes into the open end of the tube: a ribbed plug grips the inside wall and a round head covers the cut edge. It keeps water, dirt and insects out, takes away the sharp edge and gives the tube a neat finish in seconds, with no tools or glue. It suits tube with a wall thickness of 1.0 to 3.0mm. The price shown is for one cap, with a minimum order of 10.

How many do you need?
One per open tube end. Count both ends of every rail, plus the tops of posts and the feet of frames, and remember the minimum order of 10.
Is this the right cap?
Measure the outside of the tube, then check the wall thickness: the cap fits 60.3mm round tube with a 1.0 to 3.0mm wall. A thinner wall leaves it loose; a thicker wall stops it going in.

Fitting and care
Cut the tube square and take off any burr inside the end so the ribs can grip. Line the cap up and push it in until the head sits flat on the tube. For a tight fit, tap it home with a soft rubber mallet. Fit after painting, not before.

Do I need glue?
No. The ribbed plug grips the inside of the tube. Add a dab of adhesive only if the cap must not be removed.
Will it fit my tube?

Can I paint it?
It is supplied coloured and does not need painting. Fit it after the tube is painted.
