Description
A clear PVC strip curtain wall that divides a warehouse, factory or workshop into separate working zones without building a wall. Hang it from a beam, a mezzanine edge or the underside of a roof member and you get a heated or cooled area that staff and trolleys still walk straight through, with clear sight lines and daylight across the building. Each kit comes with stainless steel hook-on rails and 300mm x 3mm clear PVC strips cut to your height with plates fitted. Choose from 12 lengths of run, 2514mm to 5220mm, and 6 heights, 2000mm to 3000mm. Every size is priced in full inc VAT.

Why a strip curtain partition?
Smaller zones cost less to heat and cool. A packing area, workshop or office corner inside a big open shed can be kept warm (or cool) on its own, instead of heating the whole building.
Dust, draughts and noise stay on their side. The strips overlap by 54mm each side, so dust from cutting, draughts from the loading doors and some machine noise are held back, while people pass through without stopping to open a door.
You can still see across the floor. The PVC is clear, so supervisors keep sight of every area and natural light still reaches the far side. Nobody walks into someone coming the other way.
It moves when your layout does. Unlike a stud wall, the rails unscrew and the run can be re-hung somewhere else when the floor plan changes, and single strips hook off in seconds for cleaning or replacement.
Where it is used
Warehouse bays and pick areas, packing and dispatch zones, factory production lines and inspection areas, joinery and engineering workshops, under and along mezzanine floors, storage screening, and temperature-controlled work areas inside larger buildings.
Choosing your size
Length of run. Measure the span you want to close, wall to wall or post to post, and choose the next size up so the end strips meet the walls. All sizes are nominal. For a run longer than 5220mm, call us and we will quote a longer rail.
Height. Measure from the underside of the beam or mezzanine edge to the floor. Between two heights? Go up one and trim the strips with a sharp knife to finish just above the floor. The 5220mm run is available in every height except 2600mm; choose 2800mm and trim.

Fitting and care
The rail must be fixed along its full length to something structurally sound: a steel beam, the underside of a mezzanine, a timber or steel header, or a wall above an opening. It is not self-supporting, so across an open floor you will need a beam or a header to fix to. Use M6 fixings to suit what you are fixing into. Hook each strip on and check the overlap. Strips travel rolled: lay them flat overnight before hanging and any curl drops out. Wipe clean with warm soapy water.
Frequently asked questions
Can I hang it across the middle of the warehouse?
Yes, as long as there is a beam, header or mezzanine edge to fix the rail to along the whole run. The rail cannot hang from chains or span unsupported.
Will it keep the heat in?
It cuts the warm air escaping and the draughts coming in, so a zone is much easier to heat. It is not insulation: for a cold store use a freezer-grade curtain.
Can forklifts drive through it?
It is made for pedestrians and trolleys. For constant forklift traffic choose our loading bay curtain with 400mm x 4mm strips.
Can I buy spare strips?
Yes, 300mm x 3mm hook-on clear replacement strips come cut to length with plates fitted.
Is it a fire barrier?
No. A fire rating is not published for this line, so it must not be used as a fire separation or block an escape route.
