Description
Stops a wheel chock walking off. This galvanised chain ties a chock to a wall or vehicle, so it stays in the bay where it is needed. It comes with a 6mm quick link at each end for speedy fixing, and it suits most of our wheel chocks. The price is per metre: set the quantity to the number of metres you want, and we will send it as one length.
Why tie a chock down
The chock stays in the bay. Loose chocks get borrowed or driven away. A chain keeps one at each dock door or parking spot.
Quick to fit. The quick links open by hand, then close with a screw collar, so no special tools are needed beyond a spanner to nip them up.
Galvanised. The zinc coating gives the steel protection in outdoor yards and open loading bays.

Frequently asked questions
How much chain do I need?
Measure from the wall fixing to the furthest place the chock needs to reach, then add a little slack. Allow enough so the chock reaches the wheel without pulling tight.
Will it fit my chock?
It suits most of our chocks. It needs an eye-bolt, ring or hole on the chock to clip to. If you are unsure, call us on 01744 520 110.
Will one chain hold a vehicle?
No. The chain only keeps the chock nearby. It is the chock that holds the wheel, and the chock backs up the parking brake, it does not replace it.
