Long-Lasting Protection for Block Paving

This block paving sealer works by penetrating and sealing porous surfaces. It also soaks into kiln-dried sand between paving blocks, helping bind the joints and create a protective barrier against moss, weeds, dirt and moisture.

Regular sealing can improve the appearance of paved areas, reduce ongoing maintenance and help extend the service life of driveways and patios. For the best results, paving joints should be cleaned and repointed with kiln-dried sand before application.

Coverage

5kg covers approximately 20–25m² per coat, depending on the porosity and condition of the surface.

Two thin coats are recommended for the best appearance and level of protection.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from oil, grease, dirt, dust, moss, weeds and loose material.

Sweep the area thoroughly using a stiff broom. A pressure washer may be used to remove ingrained dirt, but the paving must be allowed to dry completely before sealing.

Once dry, apply kiln-dried sand to the paving joints. Spread the sand over the surface and brush it evenly into the joints using a wide, soft broom.

Do not apply when rain is expected.

Application Instructions

1. Stir the product thoroughly before use.
2. Apply a thin, even first coat using a brush, roller or airless spray.
3. Begin at the furthest corner and work towards the exit.
4. Allow the first coat to dry for approximately 4–6 hours.
5. Apply a second thin coat.
6. Keep the surface dry during application and curing.
7. Do not allow vehicles onto the treated area for at least 24 hours after the final coat.
8. Reseal the container securely if any product remains.
