Description
When a driver is waiting at the gate and your team are on a forklift or in a noisy workshop, an ordinary doorbell goes unheard. This two-channel wireless site bell gives you two weatherproof Please Ring push buttons and one wall-mounted box with two sirens, a red strobe and a blue strobe. Press the first button and one siren and the red strobe run. Press the second and the other siren and the blue strobe run, so staff can tell which entrance needs them from across the building. It has a listed range of 800 metres line of sight and suits warehouses, factories, builders' merchants, farms and large yards.
Why it works on a big site
Two alerts you can tell apart. Each button has its own siren and its own strobe colour, so red can mean the yard gate and blue the goods-in door.
Loud, and you set the sound. Each siren goes up to 106dB and has a volume control and 32 selectable tones, so you can pick one that carries over machinery.
A light as well as a sound. Where people wear ear defenders, a flashing strobe in their line of sight gets noticed when a bell might not.
No cable to the gate. Each button runs on one 3V CR123A lithium battery, listed at 12 to 18 months for most uses. No trench across the yard.
You choose how long it runs. Each channel can run for 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 seconds or minutes, or latch on until someone resets it with the remote control.
Know the limits. The 800 metres is line of sight. Allow 400 to 600 metres on most sites, and less if steel buildings or racking stand in the way. The box needs mains power through its plug-in supply and no battery back-up is listed. It is a call and alert system, not a fire alarm or a monitored panic service.
Where it is used
Typical sites are yard gates and goods-in doors, warehouses with two delivery entrances, factories with loud machinery, builders' merchants and farms. It is also used with one button as a doorbell and the other as a call-for-help button.

Fitting and care
Before you fix anything, power up the box where you plan to fit it and press each button from its intended position. The box fits to an inside or outside wall with 4 screws through its side lugs. Its 3-pin plug goes into a suitable outdoor socket, or into a socket indoors with the cable taken through the wall. Wall fixings are not listed as part of the kit, so have some to suit your wall. Set the run times on the switches inside the box and the tone and volume on each siren. Keep a spare CR123A battery on site and test both buttons during routine checks.
Frequently asked questions
Is it completely wireless?
The buttons are wireless and battery powered, and they signal the box by radio. The box needs its 12V plug-in supply, so you need a socket within reach.
Will it reach my gate?
The listed range is 800 metres line of sight, around 400 to 600 metres in most applications. If yours is a long or built-up site, call us first.
Can the two buttons sound different?
Yes. Each channel has its own siren, tone, volume, strobe colour and run time.
What does the remote control do?
It resets the box and has on, off and SOS for each channel, so it can also raise an alarm. You can use more than one remote with the box.
