One torn, scuffed or cloudy strip makes the whole curtain look tired and lets draughts through. You do not need a new kit. These clear PVC strips are cut to the length you choose and punched with a row of hanging slots at the top, ready to push straight onto a QuickMount peg rail. Pull the old strip off the pegs, push the new one on, and the doorway is back to full clarity in a minute. Choose from four strip sizes and lengths from 1000mm to 3000mm. Each strip is priced on its own, so buy one or a full set.

Which strip do I need?

To replace a strip, match the width and thickness of the strips already on your rail. Measure the width with a tape and compare the thickness with a 2mm or 3mm sample, or call us and we will help.

Choosing the length

Measure an old strip end to end. If it is damaged, measure from the top of the rail to just above the floor. Lengths run from 1000mm to 3000mm in 100mm steps. If you fall between two lengths, go up one: the strips trim with a sharp knife against a straight edge.

Why replace strips, not the curtain

Cheaper. A single 200mm x 2mm strip at 2000mm long costs £14.90, against a full kit from £96.90.

No tools and no downtime. The strips push onto the pegs and pull off again. The rail stays on the wall.

Back to full clarity. Scuffed PVC goes cloudy over time and reduces the view through the doorway. New strips restore it, which matters on routes shared by people and trolleys.

No metal plates. Like the rest of the QuickMount system, the strips carry no metal plates or hooks, so a strip that is pulled down has nothing hard attached to it.

Fitting

Lift the old strip off the pegs. Line up the slots on the new strip with the pegs and push it on, overlapping the strips either side as before. Strips travel rolled, so a slight curl at the bottom is normal and relaxes in time. Unrolling them flat overnight before hanging helps.

Frequently asked questions

Will these fit my rail?

They are punched for QuickMount push-fit peg rails, the plastic rail with a row of downward pegs. They do not fit hook-on stainless or galvanised rails, which use strips with metal plates.

How many strips do I need for a whole curtain?

On our 200mm QuickMount kits each strip starts 152mm along from the last. Count the strips on your rail, or see the width table on the clear QuickMount kit: 5 strips for 813mm up to 16 strips for 2489mm.

Do you sell coloured or solid strips?

This listing is clear PVC. For a solid white, black or red curtain see the solid colour QuickMount kit, or call us for single coloured strips.

Can I use them in a freezer?

No. Standard clear PVC is recommended for 0°C to +40°C and stiffens in the cold.
