Description
The joint for every awkward angle on a yellow GRP handrail. Two GRP sleeves slide over the two tube ends and pivot on one bolt, so the rails can meet at any angle, in any plane. Use it where a stair handrail levels off at a landing, where a ramp changes slope, or at a corner that is not 90°. It comes pre-drilled with its M6 nuts and bolts, never rusts and needs no painting. The price shown is for one joint with its bolts.

Why use the adjustable joint
Any angle, any plane. Set the two sleeves to the angle the job needs, sloping up, down or round, then lock them.
Smooth changes of direction. Stair rails roll smoothly into landing rails without site bending or welding.
Ready to fit. Pre-drilled, with its M6 nuts and bolts included.
No rust, no hot work. GRP does not corrode and goes together cold.
Where it is used
Where stair handrails meet landing rails on access stairs, pump houses, substations and plant platforms; where ramps change slope; odd-angle corners round tanks, walkways and machinery.

Fitting
Cut the two tube ends square. Slide a sleeve fully over each tube end, set the joint to the angle where the rails meet, check both rails sit where they should, then fit and tighten the M6 bolts supplied to lock the angle. Seal cut tube ends elsewhere with end caps.
Care
Wash down with water and mild detergent. Check the bolts once a year and after any impact. GRP needs no painting.
Frequently asked questions

Yes, one adjustable joint with its bolts.
What angles will it set to?
