Description
A black section, so you can build a bump to your lane width. Each of these rubber sections is 500mm wide. Bolt as many as you need side by side, then finish the run with an end section at each end. The black cap and white chevrons make it easy to see in a car park or at a supermarket. It measures about 500 x 400 x 50mm and weighs about 8.5kg. The price is for one section.

Why this section works
Built to your width. Add or take away 500mm sections to fit the lane. A 3m run takes 5 middle sections and 2 end sections.
A solid colour cap. Commercial grade rubber is capped with solid black rubber, with white chevrons on top. The underside has moulded pockets, as the photo shows.
Four recessed fixings. One hole sits near each corner, for an M12 fixing with a 35mm recess, so the bolt head sits down in the rubber.
Where it is used
Use it in car parks and at supermarkets, on private service roads and at site entrances where you want drivers to slow down. It should be used with signs that warn drivers and tell them to reduce their speed.

Frequently asked questions
How many sections do I need?
Measure the width to cover and take off 500mm for the two end sections, then divide the rest by 500mm. A 3m run takes 5 middle sections and 2 end sections.
Are fixings included?
No. Each section needs 4 M12 x 100mm fixings. For concrete, use an M12 x 100mm through stud. For tarmac, use an M12 x 100mm rubber sleeve fixing.
Can I mix black and yellow?
Yes, the two colours are the same size, so you can alternate them for a striped run using this and the yellow section.
Can I use it on a public road?
Speed bumps on public roads are controlled by the highway authority. This one is for private sites such as car parks, so check with the authority if the road is not yours.
