What are key clamp fittings used for?

Key clamp fittings are used to join steel tubes together without welding. Common applications include handrails, safety barriers, furniture frames, retail displays, and industrial structures. They provide strong, adjustable connections that can be assembled with basic tools.

What size key clamp do I need?

Key clamp sizes are based on tube outer diameter: Size A (27mm) for 26.9mm tube, Size B (34mm) for 33.7mm tube, Size C (42mm) for 42.4mm tube, Size D (48mm) for 48.3mm tube. Measure your existing tube or specify the size when ordering new tube.

Are key clamp fittings load bearing?

Yes, quality key clamp fittings are designed for structural applications. They meet BS EN standards for handrails and barriers. Load capacity varies by fitting type and size - contact us for engineering specifications for your application.

Do you supply key clamp tubes as well as fittings?
