Description
A neat, bright bracket for indoor timber handrails. The flat 60 x 19mm saddle screws up into the underside of the rail through two countersunk holes, and the 60mm round wall plate fixes with three countersunk screws. Bright zinc plated steel with a 10mm round bar arm, for homes, offices and public buildings. The price shown is for one bracket, with a minimum order of 10.

Space brackets about 1m apart or closer, with one within about 300mm of each end of the rail.

Fitting
Fix the end brackets to the wall first, string a line between them and fix the rest to it. Lay the handrail on the flat saddles and screw up through the saddle holes into the rail with wood or self-tapping screws.
Care
Zinc plating is a bright indoor finish: wipe with a dry cloth and keep it out of damp and outdoor areas, where a galvanised bracket lasts longer. Check the wall fixings once a year on busy stairs.
