Application Guide

Surface Preparation

For the best results, the concrete surface must be clean, dry, and properly prepared before application. Remove any loose or flaking coatings and abrade the surface to create a suitable bonding key.

Mechanical preparation such as grinding or shot blasting is recommended where possible. Remove all dust, dirt, grease, and contaminants before applying the primer and epoxy coating.

Priming Recommendations

• New or sound concrete floors: Apply a suitable damp-tolerant primer
• Dusty, aged, or weaker concrete floors: Use a suitable penetrating primer
• Oil-contaminated floors: Clean thoroughly and use an oil-resistant primer

Application Process

1. Mix the components thoroughly using the supplied mixing paddle.
2. Apply the primer and allow it to cure as recommended.
3. Apply the epoxy floor coating using the supplied roller equipment.
4. Use brushes for edges and detailed areas.
5. Apply additional coats once the previous layer has cured sufficiently.

Important Information

• Minimum application temperature: 7°C
• Not self-levelling; surface preparation is essential

• Allow full curing before exposure to chemicals or standing water
