Description
A bigger plate for where landing legs come down. This plate is made from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, with a molecular weight above 3 million g/mol, so it has excellent abrasion resistance. Its edges are chamfered to reduce any trip hazard, and its 20 fixing holes let you secure it firmly. At 1500 x 1000mm, it gives more room than our 1000mm square plate. It is 20mm thick and weighs about 28kg. The price is for one plate.
Why this plate works
Hard wearing. UHMWPE has excellent abrasion resistance, which is why it is used where steel feet stand and scrape.
Chamfered edges. The edges are chamfered all round, to reduce any trip hazard.
Twenty fixing points. The holes run round all four edges, so the plate is held down firmly at every side.
Where it is used
Use it in trailer parks, distribution yards and loading areas, wherever parked trailers stand on their landing legs.

How to fit it
- Check the concrete is flat and sound.
- Set the plate where the landing legs come down.
- Drill 16mm holes for the M10 countersunk anchor bolts.
- Fix through all 20 holes, with the bolt heads flush.

Care
Check the fixings now and then and tighten any that work loose. Replace the plate if it cracks or wears through.

Are fixings included?
No. The plate takes 20 M10 countersunk anchor bolts, and we sell a suitable bolt separately.
What is UHMWPE?
Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene. On this plate the molecular weight is above 3 million g/mol, which gives it excellent abrasion resistance.
Can it go on tarmac?
The fixings are concrete anchor bolts, so fit it to sound concrete. Call us if your yard is tarmac.
