Reflective Road Line Marking Paint is a heavy-duty, solvent-based coating designed to create bright, durable and highly visible lines on concrete, asphalt and tarmac surfaces.

Formulated using chlorinated rubber and reflective glass beads, the paint produces a finely textured finish that reflects light, improving the visibility of road markings, parking bays, pedestrian areas and safety lines in low-light conditions.

The convenient one-pack formula requires no additional mixing, hardeners or activators. It is easy to apply using a roller, brush or paint pad, making it suitable for both professional contractors and DIY applications.

Its fast-drying, hard-wearing formulation provides excellent resistance to regular traffic, weather exposure and general surface wear. It is a cost-effective alternative to thermoplastic road markings, particularly in locations where specialist application machinery cannot be used.

Coverage

A 5-litre container provides approximately:

• 60m² per coat, depending on the surface condition and application method
• 600 linear metres at a line width of 100mm

These coverage figures are approximate and apply to a single coat. Two coats are recommended for improved colour, reflectivity, durability and surface protection.

Surface Preparation

Remove any loose, peeling or damaged existing line markings before application, as unstable coatings may affect adhesion.

Repair cracks, holes and surface defects using a suitable repair compound. Allow all repairs to cure fully before painting.

The surface must be:

• Clean and dry
• Free from dust and loose debris
• Free from oil, grease and contamination
• Free from laitance and unstable coatings

Existing sound markings should be lightly abraded using a wire brush or suitable sanding equipment. Vacuum or sweep away all loose material before applying the paint.

Application Instructions

1. Stir the paint thoroughly before and during use.
2. Apply the first coat evenly using a roller, brush or paint pad.
3. When using a roller, apply in a cross-rolled pattern to achieve consistent coverage.
4. Protect the freshly painted surface from rain, moisture and contamination.
5. Allow approximately 12 hours before applying the second coat.
6. Apply the second coat evenly.
7. Allow the coating to dry completely before opening the area to traffic.

Two coats are recommended for the best reflective appearance and long-term durability.
