Description

Upgrade your parking or access control infrastructure with this high-visibility, robust fold-down hoop barrier. Designed to protect parking bays, loading areas, driveways or gated entrances, this barrier combines durability, ease of use and a built-in locking mechanism—eliminating the need for external padlocks. With its surface-mounted design and low profile when lowered, it offers smart protection without interfering with vehicle clearance.

 Why Choose This Barrier?

  • Superior structural design: The triangular three-upright hoop and six ground fixings offer exceptional stability and strength.
  • Built-in integral lock: Comes complete with an internal locking system and two keys (option for keyed-alike across multiple units)—no padlock needed.
  • Low-profile when lowered: Folds down to just 45 mm in height, helping to avoid tyre damage while allowing vehicles to drive over safely.
  • High visibility finish: Powder-coated bright red for strong deterrence and easy recognition in parking or access zones.
  • Versatile installation: Ideal for surface mounting on concrete, slab or driveways—suitable for commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

 Key Features

  • Material: 2 mm thick steel construction.
  • Finish: Powder-coated red for durability and visibility.
  • Locking method: Internal integral lock with keys.
  • Dimensions when upright: 860 mm (W) × 470 mm (H) × 280 mm (D).
  • Dimensions when lowered: 860 mm (W) × 470 mm (D) × 45 mm (H).
  • Ground fixings: 6 × concrete bolts (base holes Ø8 mm) for secure mounting.
  • Kit includes: 1 × barrier unit, 2 × keys (keyed alike available), 6 × ground fixings.

 Typical Applications

  • Driveways & private parking bays: Prevent unauthorised vehicle access or misuse of designated parking spaces.
  • Commercial car parks & loading zones: Provide access control while allowing vehicles to drive over when lowered.
  • Residential complexes & gated entrances: High-visibility barrier for apartment parking or homeowner associations.
  • Service areas & logistics yards: Defines vehicle zones clearly and deters misuse of space.

 Installation & Care Tips

  • Choose a flat, solid concrete base capable of supporting the fixings and barrier loads.
  • Mark out the 6 fixing points and pre-drill holes (Ø 8 mm) in concrete slab, insert anchors, and bolt down the barrier securely.
  • Ensure the hoop barrier is upright and square, with the lock accessible.
  • When lowered, the barrier should sit flush at ~45 mm height to avoid obstruction.
  • Clean periodically with a mild detergent; inspect fixings, lock mechanism and hinge for wear or corrosion.
  • For long-term durability, especially in outdoor or exposed installations, consider periodic touch-up of powder-coating or corrosion-resistant finish.
