Surface Preparation & Application
Important: Proper surface preparation is critical for optimal adhesion and longevity. Failure to prepare surfaces correctly may result in coating failure.
Preparation Steps
- Clean: Remove all oil, grease, dirt, and loose material from surface
- Repair: Fill cracks and holes with suitable concrete repair compound
- Etch: Acid etch or mechanically abrade surface for maximum adhesion
- Prime: Apply appropriate primer on porous or dusty concrete (recommended)
- Apply: Apply two coats using brush, roller, or spray equipment
Application Guidelines
- Apply at temperatures between 10°C and 25°C
- Ensure adequate ventilation during application and curing
- Allow 16-24 hours between coats
- Avoid application in damp or humid conditions
- Allow 7 days full cure before heavy traffic
