Surface Preparation & Application

Important: Proper surface preparation is critical for optimal adhesion and longevity. Failure to prepare surfaces correctly may result in coating failure.

Preparation Steps

  1. Clean: Remove all oil, grease, dirt, and loose material from surface
  2. Repair: Fill cracks and holes with suitable concrete repair compound
  3. Etch: Acid etch or mechanically abrade surface for maximum adhesion
  4. Prime: Apply appropriate primer on porous or dusty concrete (recommended)
  5. Apply: Apply two coats using brush, roller, or spray equipment

Application Guidelines

  • Apply at temperatures between 10°C and 25°C
  • Ensure adequate ventilation during application and curing
  • Allow 16-24 hours between coats
  • Avoid application in damp or humid conditions
  • Allow 7 days full cure before heavy traffic
