Use M6 screws or bolts that suit what you are fixing into: they are not supplied. The rail is not self-supporting, so fix it to a solid beam, door frame or lintel along its whole length, and check for cables and pipes before drilling. Then hook each strip's plate onto the rail, overlapping its neighbours.
